National Gandhi Museum  A collection of books, documents, photographs, audio-visual materials, art pieces, and other memorabilia connected with Mahatma Gandhi.
Salarjung Museum  The Salar Jung Museum was established in 1951. The major portion of the collection of the museum was acquired by Mir Yousuf Ali Khan, popularly known as Salar Jung III. In the absence of any direct descendants of Salar Jung III, the Government of India appointed a Committee to administer the Salar Jung Estate. Later on with the idea of perpetuating his name, the Salar Jung Museum was brought into existence on 16th December, 1951 in Diwan Deodi, the residential palace of Salar Jung III and opened to the public by Pandit Jawarharlal Nehru, the then Prime Minister of India. In 1958, the Government of India took over the museum through a compromise deed. Till 1958 this museum was administered by the Salar Jung Estate Committee. Thereafter the Museum continued to be administered by the Ministry of Scientific Research and Cultural Affairs, Government of India till 1961. In 1961, through an Act of Parliament, the Salar Jung Museum along with its library was declared as an “Institution of National Importance”.
National Council Of Science Museums  National Council of Science Museums, with its 28 units functioning from different locations of the country, holds the single largest chain of science centres & museums.
Netaji Research Bureau  The ancestral house of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose housing the museum provide photographs, documents, books and articles relating to Netaji’s life and work.

Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum  Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum is one of the units of National Council of Science Museums an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India.Around 1960 prominent industrialists acted on an idea of setting up an industrial museum & Visvesvaraya Industrial Museum society was formed. Building of about 40,000 sq.ft area was built in Cubbon park with the financial support of industrialists, State & Government of India. On 11th Nov. 1962 late Prime minister of India Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru inaugurated the museum. The first gallery on "Electro Technic" was opened to the public on 27th July, 1965. In 1978 National Council of Science Museums (NCSM) an autonomous society was set up under the Dept. of Culture, Govt. of India.
National Archives Of India  The National Archives of India is the repository of the non-current records of the Government of India and is holding them in trust for the use of administrators and scholars.
Sudha Cars  Sudha Cars Museum is the first and only handmade Wacky Car museum in the World. It is the brainchild of Mr. K. Sudhakar, a Guinness World Record Holder for making the Largest Tricycle in the World. Mr. Sudhakar, got hooked on to this hobby right from his school days. At the age of 14 he first designed a bicycle and the very next year at the age of 15 he made his first ‘Easy Rider Motorbike’. He tried his hands on a four-wheeler when he was studying in Intermediate II year and created a stunning, rugged looking ‘Dune Buggy’.

National Rail Museum  The indoor gallery in the museum is devoted to the display of various small exhibits,working and dummy models,coat of arms,records,historical documents, photographs and charts depicting the developement and growth of railways in India since their inception.The developement of engines,rolling stock, signalling and telecommunications,engineering construction and architecture and the railway‘s contribution to the industrial developement of the country is also depicted in the systematic and pictorial manner. One gallery has also been set apart to focus attention on the post-independence developements and modernisation of the Indian Railways including self-sufficiency,export promotion and developement plans for the future.
Parliament Musuem  After assuming the Office of Speaker,Lok Sabha,Shri Somnath Chatterjee expressed keen personal interest in setting up a Museum on Democratic Heritage in India,a museum that he thought would be modern, high-tech and would conform to international standards.Dr Saroj Ghose,former President of the International Council of Museums,Paris and retired Director General of National Council of Science Museums in India was invited to submit an appropriate proposal.
