Toyota is on a roll with an enlarged upcoming car launch in Indian automobile industry. The company has decided to introduce its new variant Toyota Etios on Indian roads by the end of this year. This launch has been termed as 'enlarged' because Toyota will inleash Etios in both hatchback as well as sedan variants. The new concept car, provides world class technology and quality with the brand name of Toyota.

The bold and simple design of this new concept car offers affordable luxury and functionality in one machine. Competing with the likes of Maruti Swift, Skoda Fabia, Hyundai i20 and Fiat Punto, the all new Toyota Etios aims to grab a 10 per cent market share in Indian compact cars segment. The hatchback variant is loaded with 1.2 litre petrol engine whereas sedan variant comes with 1.5 litre petrol engine.

The shock absorbers at front would be independent MacPherson strut while the rear suspension would be non-independent twist beam axle. The suspensions are very much similar to Toyota's Yari. The frames of the cars are rigid and strong with lesser weight that is likely to be 800-900kgs.
