Volkswagen motors has launched its much awaited compact luxury car 'Volkswagen Beetle' in India in premium D-segment. The cute looking Volkswagen Beetle is a small car with unique and stylish exteriors. The legendary curves throughout Beetele's body provide a distinctive look. Initially, the car will be imported as a CBU (Completely Built Unit) from its Mexican based manufacturing plant. With only one variant in the market, Volkswagen Beetle is a tough competetion for other D-segment luxurious small car models like Fiat 500 and another awaited model Fiat Bravo.
The all new Volkswagen Beetle is a powerful, luxurious and stylish car that offers the sensation of thrilling adventure in a compact showcase. The exuberant hatchback car from Volkswagen is all set to drive you crazy. Powered by the 2.0L, 1984cc, petrol engine with six speed automatic transmission gearbox, Volkswagen Beetle is currently available with petrol engine option only. The compact luxury can cross the mark of 100kmph in just 11.2 seconds and has the ability to touch the top speed mark of 180kmph. ABS with EBD, dual front and side impact airbags, sear belt alarm, and tyre pressure monitoring system provide world class safety levels. The legendary curves and elegantly crafted headlights of Volkswagen Beetle define a new presicion standard in car design. Luxurious setaing comforts and compatible MP3 ‘gamma' radio CD Player with Aux-in, allowing you to plug-in external equipment make a strong satement on the lavish interiors.
