Global Citizens for Sustainable Development GCSD is a registered not for profit and nongovernmental organization based in Bangalore, India. To engage and empower children, youth, men and women to sustain communities, cultures and societies while promoting improvement in their social, economic and environmental conditions through the notion of human responsibilities.
Vrutti was established in 2004 by Catalyst Management Services, a consulting firm working in social development. It was established to address the need for social, technical and managerial resources in the livelihoods sector. We are a group of young, dynamic professionals who are committed to working for livelihoods promotion and contributing to improved quality of life of the marginalised communities.
KARUNA ANIMAL WELFARE ASSOCIATION
The organization was established in the year 1888 as Bangalore Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and was registered as a charitable society on 24th May 1916. The name of the organization has changed to Karuna Animal Welfare Association of Karnataka on 30th September 2001. Karuna is a member of WSPA, England and North Shore Animal League

SSSLST is a part of the Divine Mission of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba who is none other than the Lord in Human form, who has made His advent for the establishment of Dharma in the World. The moto of the SSSLST is the same as that of Bhagawan Baba – 'Samastha Loka Sukhinobhavantu,' meaning 'May every being in this universe enjoy total happiness!'.
Department of Women and Child Development
The Department of Women and Child Development was created in the year 1994, prior to which it was a part of the Social Welfare Department. The department is headed by a Minister who is supported by a Secretariat The Department is responsible for the welfare and development of women, children, elderly and disabled in the State
Decades ago, an American who had come to India fell ill and was admitted to a hospital in Bangalore. Within 48 hours, his condition deteriorated. Dr. Glory Alexander was by his side when he breathed his last. She didn't know much about the man other than the fact that he died of AIDS. Navachetana Trust was formally registered in 1996. However the Trust and its work commenced in the year 1991. Navachetana is a non government organization NGO working for the Rehabilitation of poor, destitute and mentally impaired people, Navachetana translates to New Vigour. It is governed by a Board of Trustees comprising of seven members, who are prominent and highly respected individuals in the field of mental health, social work and counseling.

Mohsin Shariff Educational & Charitable Trust
The Trust has been serving Daily Hot MidDay Meals for the past 10 years and celebrated her 10th anniversary in September 2010 to around 50,000 school children of 1st to 10th Std. studying in 182 Govt. and aided Kannada, Urdu, Tamil, Telugu and English medium schools. Such services are being rendered in the schools situated in the ranges South2, South4 and North3 in association with the State and Central Governments. MidDay Meals is being served since the year 2000.
