Sachin Tendulkar led Mumbai Indians lost their first game to Highveld Lions nd continued the loosing spree in their second game against South Australia. With all the teams giving their best, Mumbai needs to produce some magic to remain intact in the tournament.
Redbacks batting tarnishes Mumbai
South Australian Red Backs made a tremendous display of batting against Mumbai Indians to win their second consecutive game. Batting first, Mumbai put up a huge total of 180/7 with some powerful hittinh from middle order. Mumbai's star player Keiron Pollard, Ambati Rayadu and Saurav Tiwary went on a rampage with Red Backs bowling attack. But the South Australian batting was equal to the task. Some sloppy fielding from Mumbai INdians also helped them to register a five wickets win.

Royal Challengers Bangalore kicked off their Champions League 2010 campaign with a dominating win over Guyana. Kumble led RCB made a tremendous display of bowling by restricting Guyana to 103 in 20 overs. South African veteran Jacques Kallis led the attack by taking three wickets. He fired with bat also scring 43* (32 balls), helping his team to a convincing 9 wickets win.
South Australia thrash Highveld Lions
Souh Australian Redbacks thrashed Highveld Lions with a four wickets win. Winning the toss, the African team elected to bat and managed a total of 167/8 in 20 overs. In reply, the South Australia captain Michael Klinger scored 78 (48 balls) taking his ina winnig position. Rest formalities were completed by Callum Ferguson, who scored 47 off 27 balls ensuring a four wickets win.

Chennai Super Kings defeated New Zealand's Central Stags by 57 runs in their first group match at Champions League T20. Batting first, Chennai had a shaky start by lossing three wickets for 40 runs. Then started a grand cameo from S.Badrinath who scored 52* off 42 balls along with Albie Morkel scoring 26 (15 balls).
Dhoni led CSK registered a total of 151/4 in 20 overs. In reply, the Central Stags were restricte to 94 with some oustanding bowling from Chennai bowlers. Paceman L.Balaji took three wickets with Ashwin, Bolinger and Murali bagging two wickets each.
