The Indian cricket team is governed by the Board
of Control for Cricket (BCCI) in India. In terms of sponsor, Team India
is the highest paid sports team in the world. In 1932, the Indian
cricket team became the 6th Teast playing team. The odyssey of cricket
in India started in the early 1700s by the British. The most memorable
day of the team was the winning of World Cup in 1983 under the shelter
of Kapil Dev, the then captain.
