The fast, thrilling and exciting version of
Cricket in form of Twenty 20 has derived its basic rules from
one-day and test matches, but there are few exceptions. Twenty
Twenty Cricket has been designed with new and interesting rules
making it more funny and entertaining.

20 Cricket :
- A no ball (overstepping) is penalised with a free-hit on the
following delivery in which the batsman can be dismissed only by
run-out, hitting the ball twice, obstructing the field or handling
the ball. Also no change in the field settings are allowed during
free-hit.
- Each bowler can bowl maximum 04 overs per innings.
- Umpires have power to award 05 runs in case of wastage of time by
any team.
- During first 06 overs only two fielders can remain outside the 30
yard circle and for the remaining overs only 05 fielders can be
outside the ring.
- There can be only 05 fielders on leg side at any time.
- The batting team will get bonus of 06 runs if the bowling team
does not start their 20th over before 75th minute. The main purpose
of this strict rule is to make the bowling team complete their
innings within the allotted time of 75 minutes.
- The very special rule of Twenty 20 Cricket is the bowl-out rule
that applies in case of the tie. As per this rule 05 bowlers from
each side delivers one delivery each with no batsman at the crease.
The side with one extra wicket is declared the winner and if the
number of wickets remains the same then the process is repeated and
winner is decided by sudden death.
