Also known as The Windies, the West Indian
cricket team is a multi-national cricket team representing a sporting
confederation of a dozen English-speaking Caribbean countries and
British dependencies. The nation has won two consecutive World Cups,
1975 and 1979. Brian (Charles) Lara, The Prince of Port-of-Spain and one
of the greatest batsmen ever, leaded the team to the World Cup 2007 in
the Caribbeans.
