The tickets of ICC World Cup 2007 are
available to the general public under a special programme known as
Public Ticketing programme. The entire programme has been designed
on first-come-first-serve basis. The tickets are available in all
the nine host venues of the Caribbean and are also online on
www.cricketworldcup.com.
The Ticket Centres are made user-friendly with an area to sit and
fill out applications. The centres also carries posters that briefs
about the application process.
Prices of
Tickets
From US$10 for Warm-up games to a maximum of US$300 for the best
seats at the tournament's April 28, 2007, final.
Phases of Tickets Sale
- Tour and travel packages January 2006
- Corporate hospitality packages February 2006
- May 1, 2006 to July 31, 2006 Phase I
- August 2006, applications and payments is processed.
- September 1, 2006 to November 30, 2006 Phase II
- December 1, 2006 to January 9, 2007 Specific seat locations
are assigned to all ticket purchasers and tickets are printed
and prepared for distribution.
- January 9, 2007 to the morning of the final on Saturday April
28, 2007 - The third and final phase.
Package Tickets
In the Tour and Travel packages, the Prices disclosed will include
flights, specially-packaged tours, ground transportation,
accommodation and match tickets and is sold via Official Travel
Agents (OTAs) appointed by Cricket Logistics 2007 in cricketing
territories throughout the world.
In Corporate Hospitality packages, it will encompass a hospitality
component as well as match tickets and is available from Official
Corporate Hospitality Agents (OCHAs) in cricketing territories
throughout the world.
