Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission
Himachal Pradesh attained statehood on 25th January, 1971. Prior to this date, the function of Public Service Commission in respect of the civil services and posts in connection with the affairs of the Union Territory of Himachal Pradesh were being discharged by the Union Public Service Commission under Article 315 of the Constitution of India. It was, therefore, incumbent on the State to have its own Public Service Commission.
State Election Commission
State Election Commission, Gujarat was constituted in September 1993 under Article 243K of the Constitution of India. State Election Commission has been entrusted with the function of conducting free, fair and impartial elections to the local bodies in the state.Part-IX and Part-IXA were incorporated through the amendment no.73 and no.74 in the constitution of India covering provisions regarding the Panchayats and Municipalities respectively. These parts cover constitutions of Panchayats and Municipality including their elections by the State Election Commission.

Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum
The Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum CGRF of BEST Undertaking formed in June 2004 as per constituted under section 42 5 of Electricity Act 2003, in accordance with the Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum and Electricity Ombudsman Regulations 2006. Any electricity consumer of BEST having any grievance is requested first to follow the Internal Grievance Redressal Procedure IGR of BEST.
Meghalaya State Information Commission
The State Information Commission is constituted by the State Government through a Gazette Notification. It will have one State Chief Information Commissioner and not more than ten State Information Commissioners to be appointed by the Governor. Oath of office will be administered by the Governor according to the form set out in the First Schedule to the Right to Information Act, 2005.
