VSO has been working in India since 1958. We work in partnership with over 100 NGOs specialising in the fields of Disability, HIV & AIDS and Participation & Governance, and have placed over 380 volunteers to date.We have recently launched a National Volunteering strategy. Get Involved is an initiative of the National Volunteering strategy to promote community-based volunteering, encourage professional and corporate volunteering as well as building on VSOI’s current work in youth volunteering.
