Department for Public Instruction The Educational Task Force constituted by the Government under the chairmanship of Dr.Rajaramanna has recommended to impart 8 years of Primary Schooling.It is to equip children of the State with specified knowledge, skills and values to enable them to become good human beings and productive, socially responsible citizens.

Thane Police Commissionerate
Thane Police Commissionerate is a unique Police Unit. It is perhaps the only one of its kind in India as Thane Police Commissionerate comprises of four Municipal Corporations (Thane, Bhiwandi, Ulhasnagar, and Kalyan-Dombivali) and two Muncipal Councils (Ambernath and Badlapur) and a number of small villages.

Chief Electoral Officer

The Office of the Accountant General, Goa was upgraded on 1st January 2004 from the Office of the Senior Deputy Accountant General (Audit), Goa. This is one of the field Offices of Indian Audit and Accounts Department headed by the Comptroller & Auditor General of India whose duties, powers and conditions of service are prescribed by the Act of Parliament in 1971.

THAKKAR NUMISMATIC AND ART FOUNDATION
Praful K. Thakkar, IAS Retd. was with the Government of Gujarat, India for more than 30 years. He has worked in various capacities as Collector, Commissioner and Secretary to the Government of Gujarat in various departments. He has graduated with philosophy as his main subject and is a lover of Indian Culture. He has written a few books in Gujarati on various facets of Indian Culture. He has also written a few Collectors Guides for numismatic fraternity.
Habitat for Humanity India
Habitat for Humanity commenced its operations in India in 1983, with the first project comprising of 16 houses, being commissioned at Khammam, Andhra Pradesh. Since then, over 33,000 houses have been constructed, providing safe, decent and affordable shelter to around 165,000 less fortunate citizens of the country
Board of Technical Examinations
The diploma in Engineering Examinations was being conducted by the University till 1958. The Diploma Examination in Drawing and Painting and Certificate Examination in Textile Technology were being conducted by the concerned institution. The diploma examination in Shorthand and Typewriting was also being conducted by the University.
Department of Technical Education
Plan, implement, administer and monitor all activities in the field of Technical Education the State consistent with State and National Policies. Recommend to Government on the basis of proper need analysis the establishment of new Technical Institution. consistent with the norms laid down by All India Council for Technical Education and other concerned Agencies.
The first major step forward in the development of the modern police dog came in 1890s in Germany where serious attempts had been made to introduce recognised training programmes for this dogs purchased by the police, army & customs authorities. Rapid progress was made in the field of dog training with the development of the German Shepherd Dog as a breed and the formation on the 22nd of April 1899 of the Verein für Deutsche Schäferhunde or SV (The German Shepherd Dog Society) . In 1903 the SV staged civilian police dog trials that encompassed control, criminal work and nose work exercises.
Indo-US Science & Technology Forum
The Indo-US Science and Technology Forum, established under an agreement between the Governments of India and the United States of America in March 2000, is an autonomous, not for profit society that promotes and catalyzes Indo-US bilateral collaborations in science, technology, engineering and biomedical research through substantive interaction among government, academia and industry.
Post-independence, Bihar Police holds the legacy of a rich tradition with the introduction of innovative policing and welfare practices such as creation of a Police Welfare fund, Police Hospitals and Police Information Room in 1952. A Police Commission was also set up in 1958, whose mandate was to bring the police closer to the people.
Registration, Excise & Prohibition Department
Registration Department came into existence vide Government of Bihar Resolution No. 1724 dated 28-August-1991. Prior to it, it was a part of Revenue Department. The department is headed by a Minister at political level. At bureaucratic level Departmental Secretary is at its head.
