The office was re-organised in Februray 1981 on departmental basis into two units, each under an Accountant General - Accountant General I and Accountant General II. These offices were bifurcated in March 1984 into two distinct offices with separate cadres to deal with audit and accounting functions.

The Office of the Accountant General, Nagaland came into existence in the year 1973. ACADEMIC STAFF COLLEGE
The Academic Staff College, Gujarat University has been working for excellence in higher education since 1987. It helps the lecturers in developing their skills. But there was no communication between lecturers and the college after they complete their courses from the college. It is not possible for them to be aware of the activities of the institution. In nutshell there was communication gap between them. There was no interaction between them.
The Government of India has entrusted the work relating to ozone layer protection and implementation of the Montreal Protocol to the Ministry of Environment & Forests MOEF. The MOEF has set up an Ozone Cell as a national unit to look after and to render necessary services to implement the Protocol and its ODS phaseout programme in India
Law commission Government of Goa
The first Law Commission was appointed by the government of Union Territory of Goa, Daman and Diu on 20th July 1968 in pursuant to the government resolution dated 18.07.1968 to examine the Portuguese Laws in force in Goa, Daman and Diu and to repeal the same wherever necessary by undertaking legislation.

Planning & Development Department
Initially the Planning and Development Department was made responsible for the Community Development works till the separation of the Department of Community Development. However the Planning and Development Department continued to be responsible for local development works.
The office of the Principal Accountant General is responsible for audit of the offices of the Civil departments of the State government and also the Central government offices located in the State. Audit of the State government autonomous bodies and those of Central government located in the State are also conducted by this office.
