Kendriya Vidyalaya Jindrah  Kendriya Vidyalaya Jindrah was established in 1986 to cater the educational needs of the defense personnel of 15-FAD (J&K). Since then the Vidyalaya is serving the people with full responsibilities. The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, is an autonomous body run by Human Resource Development the Ministry of Education Govt. of India, New Delhi.

Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1  Kendriya Vidyalaya No 1 Gandhi Nagar Jammu, a temple of learning was established in on 1st May 1967, run and managed as MODEL KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA and SMART SCHOOL of Jammu Region by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body of HRD Ministry, Govt. of India is sincerely engaged in the pursuit of excellence as pace setter institution for providing quality education.
Kendriya Vidyalaya Jyotipuram  KV. Jyotipuram was established on July 4 1978 with secondary classes. There are 2/3 sections in each classes. The building has the facility of providing two separate computer labs and a Junior science laboratory along with Physics, Chemistry and Biology laboratories. There is a well stocked library and there is a separate Geography lab in the Vidyalaya. The emphasis is on developing a scientific temper among the students.
Kendriya Vidyalaya Bantalab  The Vidyalaya was established in 1976. Vidyalaya was shifted to its newly constructed building on Sep.09,2002. which is situated near the campus of CRPF, on the Jammu-Ambh-Gharota-Road The then hon'ble Commissioner (KVS, New Delhi) Sh. H. M. Caire inaugurated it. The most prime location, attracting the attention of parents, aspiring to get admission of their wards.
Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan  Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Regional Office, Jammu came into existence in 1984. It is located near Govt Hospital, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu. Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Regional Office, Jammu is one of the 18 Regional Offices of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. There are 57 Kendriya Vidyalayas under the jurisdiction of this region spread over different states of Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh.
Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1  The Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1 Akhnoor, was established by taking over the Chenab Public School in 1977 as Primary School. Now it has risen to Secondary and senior Secondary school with Science & Commerce streams, with excellent records in Sports, Teaching and C.C.A. The school has been declared as Model School by KVS authorities.
Kendriya Vidyalaya Nagrota  Kendriya Vidyalaya Nagrota was established in 1979 at Nagrota Cantt. On the Jammu-Srinagar Highway about 10kms from Jammu city for the wards of defense & other Central govt. employees stationed at Nagrota the school is run by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body formed by the Ministry of Education (HRD), Govt. of India, new Delhi.
Kendriya Vidyalaya Kishtwar  Kendriya Vidyalaya Dul Hasti Project Kistwar was established on 6th Nov. 1985 in the project premises of Dul Hasti Project of NHPC. It is situated at a distance of 3 km. From the main market as well as the Bus stand of Kishtwar. The Vidyalaya caters the educational needs of about 700 children of project employees as well as few children of local residents also.
The Jamwal Group of Educational Institutions  The Jamwal Group of Educational Institutions (JGEI) aims at promotion and advancement of Technical and Professional Education of highest standard. Kendriya Vidyalaya Hiranagar  Kendriya Vidyalaya had its inception in 28 MARCH 2003 with classes 1 to 5 at Ravi-Tawi Complex in Hiranagar. It has a good look, easily approachable having well ventilated class rooms. It is being decorated with natural greenery. It has well maintained lawn and has an adequate water supply and comfortable condition.
KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA MIRAN SAHIB  On the recommendation of the 2nd Central Pay Commission in 1962 to provide common education with common syllabus and curriculum to the children of transferable Central government employees including defence personnel, the Ministry of Education, Government of India took over 25 regimental school run by defence establishment and converted into Central schools in 1963.
