Ingredients
800 gms:
Chicken
4-5 :
Tomato ( puried)
1 tsp :
Ginger paste
8-10 cloves :
Garlic paste
4 :
Chopped Onion
4 :
Green cardamom
7-8 :
Black pepper whole
4 :
Clove
1 stick :
Dalchini ( chinamon)
1 tsp :
Red chili powder
¼ tsp :
Haldi powder
1 tsp :
Chicken powder
2 tbsp; chopped :
Coriender leaves
3 :
Capsicum cut into long slices
Oil for cooking
Green chili chopped
Salt to taste
Method
Wash and slit chicken. Sprinkle salt and red chili powder on it and keep it aside for 10 min.
In the mean while; Heat oil in a karahi and put whole masalas, when the splitting sound comes add onion and sauté it till it is dark brown in colour.
Add ginger and garlic paste, tomatoes and cook till it leaves the oil.
Add little more salt, haldi powder and chili (red / green).
Also add chicken masala.
Add chicken pieces and cook on low flame for about 10 min. stirring occasionally,
Add 2 cups of hot water.
Cook for another 5-7 min,
Add capsicum and cook for 3-4 min or till the chicken is done.
You can add more hot water to make more gravy.
Serve hot with butter nan.
