Paneer Momos

Ingredients Paneer Momos
  • ¼ finely chopped :Onion
  • 2 finely chopped :Green chilli
  • 50 gms roughly mashed:Paneer
  • ½ tsp: haldi powder
  • ½ tsp:chilli powder
  • Salt to taste
  • ¼ tsp optional :aniseeds (saunf)
Method
  1. To prepare the filling, heat oil, add onion and green chillies. Cook till onion become pink in colour. Add haldi, red chilli and saunf to it. Add paneer and cook for 1-2 min. Do not over cook.
  2. Cool the filling.
  3. For covering:
  4. Maida or whole grain atta; kneaded with cold water
  5. Now take a big portion of kneaded atta; roll to make thin and big size roti.
  6. Now take a big portion of kneaded atta; roll to make thin and big size roti. Now cut out circles with the rim of a glass and keep them aside. Make all the circular “small roties” of equal size.
  7. Fill 1 tbsp of the filling in small roties, join the corners and give them shape, steam them for 5-6 min on high flame. Momos are ready.
