Asthana Mandapam
There are a good number of attractions to visit during a tour to Tirupati. For starters, the Asthana Mandapam in Tirupati attracts many visitors. It is a spot for carrying out devotional programs, music concerts and bhajans, conducted under the support of Dharma Prachara Parishad.
Chandragiri: Chandragiri was the former capital of the Vijayanagara Empire, situated at a distance of 12 kilometers from Tirupati. The Chandragiri Fort represents the elegance of the Vijayanagara Empire accommodating palaces and temples.
Lord Venkateshwara Temple: The temple is located in Tirumala, 18 kilometers north-west of Tirupati. Shri Venkateshwara Temple is the abode of Lord Venkateshwara or Lord Balaji, within the chamber of which is the grandiose Swayambhu or the naturally formed image of the Lord.
Swami Pushkarini: It is the sanctified tank, next to the Venkateshwara Temple, where the pilgrims take bath before entering the main temple.
Tours to Tirupati can also include visits to other sites like the Shri Veda Narayanaswamy Temple, Shri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple and Shri Kapileshwaraswami Temple.

Rayalseema Food and Dance Festival
Held to coincide with the Brahmostsavam of Lord Sri Venkateshwara of Tirupati (September-October every year). Artisans, craftsmen and weavers from all parts of the country take part while the food courts offer mouth watering cuisine of Rayalseema.
The Vijayanagar Festival at Chadragiri (October)
The historic Chandragiri fort near Tirupati, (where a Sound & Light Show is held daily) stands testimony to the grandeur of the Vijayanagar rulers. This festival coincides with the annual Brahmotsavam at the Tirumala temple. The visitors who witness the most reputed musicians and dancers perform embark on a journey into the past.

Sri Venkateswara National Park
Sri Venkateswara National Park is another attraction amidst the range of sanctuaries in India. Sited at a distance of 10 km from Tirupati, the park sprawls in an area of 353 sq km, over the Kadapa and Chittoor districts of Andhra Pradesh.
Kalahasti
Kalahasti is known for 'Panchaboothakshetra', a group of five wonderful temples. Located about 40 km from Tirupathi, this ancient site has marvelous shrines. 'Panchbhoota' suggests 'the five elements of nature' - Earth, Space, Wind, Fire and Water. Each element is represented by one temple. Kalahasti is definitely a worth-visiting place.
Narayanavanam
Narayanavanam is a small village, about 43 km from Tirupati. This place is known for an ancient temple, where Lord Kalyana Venkateswara is the presiding deity. This is the same region where the divine wedding of Lord Venkateswara, with Goddess Padmavathi, took place.
Nagalapuram
Situated around 65 km from Tirupati, Nagalapuram is famous for embracing an ancient temple. Built by Krishnadeva and his mother Nagamba, this temple is dedicated to 'Lord Vedanarayana'. The superb architecture of the temple possess intricate carving. On the day of 'Surya Puja', an annual festival, the sun rays fall on the feet, navel and forehead of the deity, as the day progresses.
Ramagiri
Ramagiri is a small hamlet, lying at a distance of 5 km from Nagalapuram. This place has imposing mountains, where one temple is sited in the foothills and other at the top of the hill. Owing to the Kaalbhairava Temple, Ramagiri is also known as 'Bhairava'.
Suruttappalli
About 12 km from Nagalapuram, Suruttappalli is known for an ancient temple, sited on the banks of Arani River. Dedicated to Lord Siva, this temple is the only temple in the entire southern part of India that has deity in the human form. In the sanctum sanctorum, there are other deities too.
