The white sands covered with green palm and coconut trees on the
lovely Cavelossim beach in Goa offers a unique experience to the
visitors. The beach is 7 km south of the famous Colva beach,
continuing the chain of beaches started from Colva to Verca beach.
Cavelossim Beach is ideal for shell collecting, strolling, or
indulging in more active pursuits like renting a kayak or catamaran.
This beach is perfect for both intrepid explorer and casual
traveler. Ideal for a romantic getaway, the place is also noted for
its wonderful nightlife. Often called the most pristine beach in
Goa, Cavelossim's clear, silky coral sands and warm waters attract
tourists in droves. And adding to its ambience are the exotic
resorts, which are haven for the holidaymakers.

Dolphin Watching
The Cavelossim beach offers excellent sights of Dolphins in the
sea. There are also facilities for Dolphin watching at Betty's Place
as well as boat trips for Dolphin watching up the River Sal.
Shopping
If one is heading south to Canacona, turn the ferry and carry on as
far as Assolna Bazaar, clustered around a junction on the main road.
The night markets of the area are very famous among the tourists,
which has the goan items in its stores.
Getting There
Cavelossim is easily accessible from Margao and other major cities
of Goa, by the means of buses, taxis, motorbikes and sea route.
There are some good resorts around the beach. Alternatively one can
find nice hotels in Margao.
