Naldehra Golf Course
The Naldehra Golf Course is 23 kms from Shimla, in Naldehra. The site for the Golf course was first sighted by Lord Curzon, the then Viceroy of India in 1903. He got so enchanted by the site, that he kept one of his daughter’s name after Naldehra. He decided to set up a Golf course at this place. This Golf course, more than 100 years old, is still a very challenging Golf links in India. This 68 par, 9 hole golf course is maintained by Himachal Tourism.
Annandale
Annandale Golf course, in Shimla is maintained by Army staff. This is also 9 hole Golf course and look amazing.
Besides, There used to be a Golf course at Khajjiar, in Dalhousie. The Golf course now stands abandoned. Khajjiar Golf course used be a very beautiful Golf ground. Khajjiar town is said to be Mini Switzerland of India.
Equipments Required
The equipments, Caddie and guides are available at the Golf link clubs, at a reasonable cost. Himachal Tourism board offers services to amateurs as well as to the professionals.
