Parwanoo an entry to the Himachal is also an example of what lies beyond the small village of Parwanoo. It is the beginning of the scenic beauty that the state has to offer. Parwanoo a small little sleepy village till recently has today become a big production center for fruits, plastic products and motor parts. It has also become a base station for the trips to the more famous locations of Himachal Pradesh like Kasauli and Pinjore.
Getting There
The nearest broad gauge railhead is at Kalka, only 4km away. The closest airport is at Chandigarh 22km away. Taxis and buses are available at both places.

Kasauli
Built by the Britishers in 19th century, Kasauli is a small, beautiful hill station of Himachal Pradesh covered with pine forests, orchards and high hills of Indian Himalayas. Every year large number of tourist travel to this beautiful destination of Himachal Pradesh to indulge in the adventure activities organized by the travel and tourism department of the state.

Renuka
Located at a distance of 132 km from Parwanoo and 60 km from Paonta Sahib, Renuka is famous for its Lake. One of the largest lakes of Himachal Pradesh, Renuka Lake is situated amidst lush green forests of Indian Himalayas. The surroundings of the Lake offers an excellent venue to tourists for the adventure sports like river - rafting.

Paonta Sahib
Situated amidst lush green forests of Sal trees, the city of Paonta Sahib is a famous pilgrim center for the Sikh as well as Hindu community. A famous Paonta Sahib Gurudwara is located in the vicinity of Paonta sahib, dedicated to Guru Gobind Singh (10th Guru of Sikh). Apart from the Gurudwara, Paonta Sahib also houses a famous temple, which is located on the bank of river Yamuna.
