Jhansi is the city where Queen of Jhansi, Laxmibai fought britishers till her death, but refused to surrender. The land is also famous for being the part of the kingdom of Lord Rama.

The city of Jhansi has lured historians and tourists with historic taste. Jhansi is located in south of Uttar Pradesh between the rivers Pahunj and Betwa. The famous battle between Rani Laxmi Bai led forces and British army took place here, where the queen lost her life. Jhansi is also known for its closeness to Agra, Gwalior and Delhi. A city that symbolizes bravery, courage and self-respect, Jhansi is one of the major tourist destinations in Uttar Pradesh, and a must visit place.

Also visit Ganesh Mandir, Kaliji Temple, Murli Manohar Temple, Panchkuniya Temple, Jeevan Shah Ka Mazar, St. Jude's Shrine, Gurudwara at Talliya Mohalla and Karguan Jain Pilgrimage.
