The All Souls' Memorial Church in Kanpur is beautifully executed building in bright red brick with polychrome dressings. The building follows the Lombardic gothic style. Today, Kanpur has become synonymous to leather industry in Asia. The whole economy of the city revolves around production, tanning, polishing or export of leather products. Textile Institute and IIT being located here.
