Tripura is the second smallest state of India. Having an area of 10,500 sq.km. Tripura is situated in North-East India. The capital of this state is Agartala and the main language of the state is Bengali and Korbork (also known as Tripuri). Tripura has a composite kind of culture rich in music, dance, fine arts and handicrafts. The rainy and hilly climatic conditions of this area possess a rich bio-diversity. Different species of trees and herbs are found here. The main places of interest in Tripura are – Amarpur, chaturdasha temple, jampui hills, kamla sagar, neer mahal and tripura sundari temple.
