Abhishek Bachchan was born on February 5, 1976, in Mumbai, India. He is the son of legendary Bollywood actors Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan. He attended the Jamnabai Narsee School and Bombay Scottish School in Mumbai and later studied in Switzerland and the United States.

Abhishek made his acting debut in Bollywood with the film "Refugee" in 2000. While the film didn't fare well at the box office, he quickly gained recognition with subsequent films like "Dhoom," "Yuva," and "Bunty Aur Babli."
