Shakira Rock singer Shakira is ten-time Grammy Award winner. She is Colombian singer, songwriter, instrumentalist, record producer, dancer and occasional actress. She is one of the major figure in pop music scene of Latin America for more than a decade. Her first album in the English-speaking market was Laundry Service. More than fifteen million copies of this album was sold worldwide.

Among the Colombian artists, Shakira is the highest-selling of all time. She is the only artist of Colombian to have reached the number-one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 and UK Singles Chart.
