Leander Paes

Leander Paes is undoubtedly one of the brightest Indian tennis
players ever. Paes has always been the champion tennis player for India and
given his one hundred percent on the tennis court. Leander Paes comes from a
family of Olympians and always nurtured a dream to be an Olympian medalist
one day. His father Vece Paes won a bronze medal in the Munich Olympics of
1972 in hockey. His mother captained the Indian basketball team in the 1980
Asian Basketball Championship and also represented India in the 1972 Munich
Olympic games. Leander Paes managed to live up to the expectations of his
fans when he won a bronze medal in the Men's Singles event at the 1996
Atlanta Olympics.
