The SUV segment in India has witnessed its newest entrant, the Toyota Fortuner. Toyota Fortuner is assembled in India at the Bidadi plant of Toyota Kirloskar Motor. The SUV is a result of joint efforts from Thai and Japanese Engineers. Toyota Fortuner front appears aggressive and dynamic with strong bonnet line and large head lamps that takes place next to the grille. The ultimate comforts are bang on and the interior is also pleasent. Toyota Fortuner has been launched only with a 3.0L diesel engine with 4WD (4 - Wheel Drive) that produces 163PS power. The dashboard of Toyota Fortuner is packed with lots of advanced features including its optitron meter. Toyota Fortuner is available only in manual transmission and is a direct competition to the likes of Honda-CRV.
