Appearance

The revamped BMW X5 SUV has an eye catching look with BMW's trademark kidney grille in the X5. Four flow lines at the bonnet create magic that end at each grille. Newly designed headlamps and fog lamps slots are now placed a bit higher as compared to other cars in India. The lower side of the SUV gives an aggressive and sporty looks. The parallel lines from the side impart the sense of a distinct design.

Launched in two variants i.e. BMW X5 xDrive30d and BMW X5 xDrive50i, the new BMW SUV can make it to your garage in Rs 52.99 lakh to 69.5 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The SUV is planned to be imported as a CBU and will be made available from October'10 across all dealerships in India. The mid-size luxury crossover SUV is driven by a 4799cc, 8 cylinder, petrol engine that produces a max power of 355 PS at 6250 rpm and develops a peak torque of 475 Nm at 3400 rpm. The powertrain is mated with a 6 speed automatic transmission for better power delivery. The crossover has got disc brakes at all wheels, it is also equipped with front Double-joint spring strut axle and rear Multilink axle, Self-levelling with pneumatic type suspension.
