Christmas Cake

Jingles of Christmas and chants of carols sets the tone for a memorable Christmas. But the recipe of Christmas Cake completes the celebrations with its enriched taste. Here is an easy recipe to prepare delicious Christmas Cake at home.

Ingredients Christmas Cake
  • 120 ml Brandy
  • 400 gm cooking Butter
  • 50 gm Caramel Color
  • 500 gm mixed Dry Fruits
  • 7 Eggs
  • 375 gm Flour
  • 120 ml Rum
  • 250 gm Sugar
  • For Marzipan
  • 200 gm Almonds
  • 1 drop Almond Essence
  • 100 gm Milk
  • 200 gm Sugar
  • 2 Egg Whites
  • For Royal Icing
  • 200 gm Icing Sugar
  • tsp Vanilla Essence
  • 200 gm stiff White Eggs
Method
  1. Take a bowl and add all the ingredients into it.
  2. Now blend it well.
  3. Grease mould with butter.
  4. TYransfer cake mixture into mould.
  5. Bake it in an oven at 190 degree C for 45 minutes. Be careful to assure that the cake bakes well.
  6. De-mould and cool it for 45 minutes.
  7. To prepare Marzipan, make an almond paste and add egg whites, milk, sugar, essence, color. Now make leaves and flowers.
  8. Prepare royal icing by mixing all ingredients and spread it over the cake.
  9. Delicious Christmas Cake is ready to be served.
