Chilli Chicken

Ingredients

  • - 1:Chicken, cut into small pieces
  • - 2 big :Onion cut into big pieces
  • - 4-5 :Capsicum, deseeded and cut into big slices
  • - a pinch : Ajinomoto
  • - 1 tsp :Red chili powder
  • - 2 tbsp :Corn flour dissolved in ¼ cup of water.
  • - 10-15 :Garlic flakes, crushed and chopped
  • - 2 tbsp :Tomato sauce
  • - 2-3 tbsp :Soya sauce
  • - 1 tbsp :Vinegar
  • - 2 tbsp :Chili sauce
  • - 1 :Egg
  • - 2 :Cloves
  • - 1 piece :Dalchini
  • - 6-7 :Black pepper whole
  • - 2 tsp :chopped Coriender leaves
  • - a pinch :Black pepper powder
  • - a pinch :Ajinomoto
  • - Salt to taste

Method

  • - Slit the pieces of chicken and marinate it with required amount of salt and red chili powder.
  • - After 15 min; in another bowl, mix together half of the garlic paste, egg, 1 spoon each of soya sauce and vinegar, 1 tbsp corn flour and marinated chicken. Mix it well. Leave it for another 15 min.
  • - Deep fry the chicken pieces till it is half cooked. Keep it aside.
  • - In another pan, heat little oil; add dry masala, crushed and chopped garlic and the onion. Saut it till it is light pink in colour.
  • - Add soya sauce, vinegar and chili sauce.
  • - Now add fried chicken.
  • - Cook for 5-6 min, add 1 cup chicken stock and bring it to a boil.
  • - Now add capsicum and deseeded tomatoes and cook. Add more salt if required.
  • - Add corn flour mixed in water and keep stirring till it becomes transparent and thick.
  • - Sprinkle ajinomoto, black pepper powder and coriander leaves.
  • - Serve hot with fried rice.
