Kagiso Rabada: Early Life and Family

Kagiso Rabada was born on May 25, 1995, in Johannesburg, South Africa. He was born to Mpho and Florence Rabada, and has a younger sister named Tshegofatso. Rabada grew up in the township of Mamelodi, a suburb of Pretoria.

Rabada's father was a keen cricketer, and encouraged his son to play the sport from a young age. Rabada joined the Mamelodi Cricket Club at the age of eight, and quickly established himself as one of the most promising young cricketers in the area.
