Borren's first taste of international cricket came in the Under 19 World Cup in 2002 when he represented his native New Zealand. However, he now represents The Netherlands having made his debut in a One Day International against Sri Lanka on 4 July 2006. Peter has represented the Netherlands in four One Day Internationals as of 3 October 2006 and has also played for the Netherlands A team and Under-23 team.

Cricket Career

  • - Member of the New Zealand side at the ICC U19 CWC Cup 2002, alongside Jesse Ryder and Ross Taylor
  • - A useful all-rounder, he averaged 27.75 with the bat and took 11 wickets with the ball at the ICC CWCQ 2009
