Cameron Donald Green (born 3 June 1999) is an Australian cricketer who plays for Western Australia and Perth Scorchers as a batting all-rounder. He made his international debut for the Australian national cricket team in December 2020.
Green was born in Perth, Western Australia, to parents Garry and Sharon Green. He has two older sisters, Chloe and Jessica. Green's father played cricket for Western Australia at amateur level, and his mother was a state-level hockey player.
Green grew up in the Perth suburb of Subiaco and attended Perth Modern School. He was a talented all-round sportsman, playing cricket, hockey, and basketball at junior level. He eventually decided to focus on cricket, and was selected to represent Western Australia at under-15 and under-17 level.
Green made his first-class debut for Western Australia in February 2017 at the age of 17. He took five wickets for 24 runs on his debut, becoming the youngest bowler in Sheffield Shield history to take a five-wicket haul.
Green's early career was interrupted by injuries, but he made a strong comeback in the 2019-20 season. He scored two centuries and took 25 wickets in the Sheffield Shield, and was named the Sheffield Shield Rookie of the Year.
Green made his international debut for Australia in a One Day International (ODI) match against India in December 2020. He scored 21 and took 0/55 on debut.
Green made his Test debut for Australia against India in December 2020. He scored 114 runs in the second innings, becoming the youngest Australian to score a century on Test debut.
Green made his Twenty20 International (T20I) debut for Australia against Pakistan in April 2022. He scored 10 runs and took 0/27 on debut.
Green has played 15 ODIs for Australia as of September 2023. He has scored 452 runs at an average of 50.22, and taken 10 wickets at an average of 32.80.
Green's best ODI performance came against Pakistan in April 2022, when he scored 104 runs and took 2/56.
